BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Putnam Investments will help New England Patriots fans show the world their “game face” during the Patriots’ upcoming home game against their division rival, the Miami Dolphins, this Sunday, December 14. Through the Patriots Fancam, an innovative technology sponsored by Putnam for Sunday’s game, fans will be able to locate a high-definition image of themselves in virtually any of the nearly 70,000 seats within Gillette Stadium — and share them with friends and family via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and email.
The Patriots Fancam utilizes a new photo technology system that will create a super high-definition, 360-degree view of fans who are in their seats during the photography window – likely to occur in the first half of Sunday’s game. Click to see Patriots Fancam video.
On Monday, fans that attended the game, will be able to zoom-in on their stadium section and seat numbers to access an unusually clean, crisp photo of themselves through the customized website (patriots.fancam.com), and then subsequently tag their image to share on social media. Additionally, fans will be able to create and send free digital postcards and see 360-degree views of Gillette Stadium.
“The New England Patriots have the NFL’s most devoted fans. The Patriots Fancam will transform their attendance at Sunday’s game via social media, enabling them to preserve their stadium experience and share it with their friends and family,” said Mark McKenna, Head of Global Marketing, Putnam Investments. “Patriots Fancam is our way of thanking fans for their passion for Patriots football by enabling them to share their presence on Sunday with the world in a unique way.”
