NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OnForce Solar, a leading provider of solar energy systems, announced that William Dudley, President and CEO of The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, visited the firm to discuss OnForce Solar’s selection into New York State’s “StartUp NY” Program and its further expansion in the Bronx. The StartUp NY Program offers qualified businesses incentives to start, expand, or relocate into a tax-free zone in New York State.
In October, OnForce Solar announced expansion plans to construct a $7 million, 23,000 square-foot technology hub and new corporate headquarters in partnership with Bronx Community College through the StartUp NY Program. The state-of-the-art technology hub will be located on Home Street in the Bronx, and will be reimagined with 320 workstations, conference rooms, high-speed fiber optics, a café, a rooftop garden, and a rooftop solar system.
Charles Feit, CEO of OnForce Solar, commented, “It was a pleasure to meet Mr. Dudley and his staff. We had an enlightening conversation on a multitude of important local business topics. It was also such an honor to be able to discuss with such a prestigious member of the Federal Reserve what a positive impact its interest rate policy has had on our business.”
