MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Visiting Myrtle Beach for that long-awaited vacation, but worried about being able to charge your electric vehicle? As more and more people turn to electric vehicles as their primary mode of transportation, and rental car companies add more electric options to their fleets, this can be a very real concern.
To meet this growing demand, guests staying at Brittain Resort Management’s Caribbean Resort & Villas, and patrons of Starbucks Coffee at the Caribbean and Sea Captain’s House now have access to two electric vehicle charging stations.
Located in the parking garage of the Caribbean Resort & Villas, the charging station is the only Tesla charging station in the Myrtle Beach area. The stations are 240 volt at 80 amps, offering the fastest charging in the area. A universal plug (EV Plus, J1772) is also available, and charges at 240 volts at 60 amps. Both provide the fastest charging available in the area.
“We are excited to be able to offer resort guests and customers of Starbucks at the Caribbean – as well as Sea Captain’s House – this service,” said Patrick Norton, vice president of marketing for Brittain Resort Management. “These charging stations will provide our guests peace of mind knowing that they can relax and enjoy their stay with us, without the worry of hunting for a place to charge their car.”
The charging stations are free of charge to Caribbean Resort & Villas guests, and patrons of Starbucks Coffee at the Caribbean and Sea Captain’s House.
