BIOLASE Introduces a New Commitment to Customer Care, Quality and Innovation at Greater New York Dental Meeting 2014

Company Hosts Numerous Special Activities and Educational Sessions for Attendees

(NASDAQ:BIOL), the global leader in dental lasers, today announced a variety of advances and activities for the upcoming Greater New York Dental Meeting 2014 including the introduction of a new generation EPIC X diode laser, designed to be the premier and complete diode laser for the whole dental team. The Greater New York Dental Meeting, billed as the largest dental congress and exposition in the U.S., will be held from Friday, Nov. 28-Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. The Exhibits at the meeting will be open from Sunday, Nov. 30-Wednesday Dec. 3.

In addition, Samuel Low, DDS, the Chairman of the Company’s new Dental Professional Advisory Board, will provide a training session on the EPIC X (diode) and on the flagship WaterLase® iPlus (All-Tissue) lasers, during the meeting.

BIOLASE will showcase its entire line of products at the meeting, including the WaterLase® iPlus, and, as a special activity, will feature Cirque du Soleil performers at its Booth #600. The Cirque du Soleil performers will appear at 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. daily starting Sunday.

The new generation EPIC X diode laser demonstrates the Company’s ability to listen closely to its customers and respond to their needs and the needs of the marketplace with high-quality, reliable, customer-preferred products, noted President and CEO Jeffrey M. Nugent.

  • “Using Dental Lasers in Today’s World,” a lecture presented by Samuel Low, DDS, from 9 a.m.-noon on Monday, Dec. 1
  • “Utilizing Laser Technology in a Periodontal Environment,” a laser hands-on course presented by Samuel Low, DDS, from 2-5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1.
