University of Cincinnati Medical Center contracts with Best Upon Request to provide concierge services to patients and associates

CINCINNATI--()--Life just got a little easier for patients and associates at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. They now have access to on-site concierge services, provided by Cincinnati-based Best Upon Request (BEST). UC Medical Center is providing this new benefit to complement the patient- and family-centered care environment, and to show how valued associates are to the organization.

BEST will start out serving patients and guests on three units. The concierge team will help improve the patient experience by being a resource for non-clinical needs. They can make travel arrangements, coordinate food deliveries, pick up prescriptions, or just spend time with a patient who needs company.

For associates, the service reduces stress by helping balance the demands of their home and professional lives. BEST’s concierges can offer assistance with nearly any item on a to-do list, from auto repairs and shopping to dry cleaning and information research.
