SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Luna Grill, a fast-casual Mediterranean concept headquartered in San Diego, announced today that the company completed an over-subscribed round of financing from private sources. The new capital will fund the Company’s expansion plans over the next two years and signals a bright future for the rapidly expanding restaurant concept.
Luna Grill was founded by Sean and Maria Pourteymour 10 years ago with its first restaurant in Northern San Diego County. Since that time Luna has stayed true to the original premise of providing high quality food that is both nutritious and delicious in a quick and comfortable environment. After the success of their original restaurant, the Pourteymours decided to expand the brand throughout San Diego and Orange Counties, and recently opened the first location outside of California, in Dallas, TX. With 15 locations currently in operation and an active pipeline of new locations, the company plans to expand to approximately 30 locations by the end of 2015.
