NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Answers Corporation, owner and operator of top-10 Internet property Answers.com and a premier provider of cloud-based customer experience solutions, has appointed Toby McKenna as Senior Vice President of Direct Advertising Sales for Answers.com. Reporting to Rich Dredge, General Manager, Answers.com, McKenna will be responsible for building, leading and managing the display and premium programmatic advertising sales team for Answers’ digital publishing properties and platforms. She will also formulate the sales strategy and positioning for Answers.com, and identify and define new advertising products, strategic partner programs and sponsorship packages.
McKenna is an industry veteran, having led digital sales and marketing teams for more than 15 years. Her experience spans across media, mobile and ecommerce companies where she has been instrumental in growing the digital business for some of the world’s most recognized brands, including The New York Times, Priceline, American Express and Yahoo!.

Prior to Answers, McKenna most recently founded and ran a consultancy, McKenna Digital Consulting, in which she helped businesses optimize digital revenue, assisted with online traffic growth and developed business plans and strategies for companies’ digital organizations. Previously, McKenna served in a variety of leadership positions, including Head of Property and Advertiser Solutions for Yahoo! where she oversaw sales development for all core properties and platforms within the Y! Network. In that role she managed a team of more than 40 employees and implemented new sponsorship opportunities and packages across all sites, plus mobile, social and video products. Earlier in her career, she served as the Director of Ad Sales at Priceline.com and as a Sales Manager at the New York Times.
