The Las Vegas Hot Chocolate 15k/5k officially marks the expansion to the 15th city to host this indulgent series. With races nationwide in cities like San Francisco, Dallas and Chicago, which just sold out for the 7th consecutive year with nearly 50,000 runners, the Hot Chocolate Series is the fastest growing 5k series and the only major 15k series in the world.
Participants of the Hot Chocolate 15k/5k have the option to sign up for the “Go the Extra Mile” program to raise money for charity. This program allows participants to set up a fundraising page to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities or any charity of their choosing. The local Ronald McDonald House affiliation is the charity of choice for each Hot Chocolate 15k/5k race. Participants can earn incentives and run the race for free depending on how much money they raise.
