Black Bison Completes Two Acquisitions of Salt Water Disposal Properties to Serve Oil and Gas Producers in Wyoming

CHICAGO & CASPER, Wyo.--()--Black Bison Water Services, LLC (“Black Bison”), a provider of services for the disposal of flowback and produced water generated from oil and gas-producing wells, today announced that it has closed on two additional acquisitions of salt water disposal (SWD) facilities in Wyoming. One is located in Uinta County, and the other is in Laramie County, near Cheyenne.

“We are pleased to complete our fourth and fifth acquisitions as we develop scale and grow our customer base,” said Justin Haigler, President of Black Bison. “By combining these latest facilities with our other operations, we are continuing to position Black Bison as the premier water disposal services business in Wyoming by providing a statewide footprint to serve all of Wyoming’s oil and gas plays. With these latest acquisitions, Black Bison now has five operating wells, plus one well in Campbell County that is fully permitted and soon to be drilled, and one well in Converse County that has a permit pending at the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality. We are committed to growing Black Bison and to finding additional locations to serve oil and gas producers. The enthusiasm we’re receiving from our customers is tremendous. When these customers outsource their wastewater management and water disposal to Black Bison, it allows them to dedicate their time, efforts and capital resources to what they do best...exploring for and producing crude oil and natural gas.”

Outlook

Over the past two years, Black Bison has evaluated several salt water handling and disposal opportunities in Wyoming, Utah, North Dakota and Texas. Black Bison has prioritized a number of Wyoming-based SWD properties to create a meaningful pipeline of projects and potential acquisition and greenfield opportunities.
