New Mocana Atlas Platform Complements SAP® Mobile Secure and SAP Fiori® UX to Power Elegant User Connectivity Experience

Enables Simplified Usage of SAP Apps Across the Enterprise at Scale

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Mocana today announced the release of the newest version of its flagship Mocana Atlas™ platform, which works with SAP® Mobile Secure to boost adoption and usage of the SAP Fiori® user experience across the enterprise at scale. By extending the personalized, responsive and simple user experience provided by the SAP Fiori UX, the Mocana Atlas platform is helping organizations simplify the user’s connectivity experience by streamlining enterprise integration.

“We are excited to offer users of SAP Fiori UX a simple, secure and scalable way to extend this personalized, responsive user experience into the mobile realm and promote the widespread usage of apps that apply the SAP Fiori UX across the enterprise,” said Alan Brenner, chief product officer at Mocana. “By pairing SAP Mobile Secure with the Atlas platform, we have set a new standard that is sure to catalyze enterprises’ desire to adopt mobile as the dominant end-user interaction platform for their critical business data and processes. This Atlas release makes significant progress in delivering on the promise of the Mocana ON experience for the marketplace of connected mobile apps.”

Several customers, including a global consumer packaged goods company, major banks, insurance companies and other Fortune 50 companies are already using SAP Mobile Secure, SAP Fiori and Mocana Atlas to drive mainstream adoption of multiple line-of-business apps on mobile devices.

This Mocana Atlas platform release delivers a number of key enhancements. The SAP Mobile App Protection solution by Mocana can be paired with Mocana Atlas to provide true tap-and-go connectivity to the SAP Fiori user experience, available through a client-side authentication SDK.

A number of additional market-driven features have also been implemented in this release, including:

  • Enhanced Usability: The Atlas platform automatically keeps users’ mobile app credentials in sync with their network credentials, enabling individuals to use their valid, known credentials at any time.
  • EMM Integration: The Atlas platform can now consider EMM device status when mobile apps and users request connections, allowing administrators to limit access only to compliant devices.
  • iOS 8 Certification: Mocana Atlas now provides full support for mobile apps running on Apple iOS 8.

“With this release, the robust app-level security of SAP Mobile Secure can be combined with the simple and secure enterprise connectivity capabilities of the Mocana Atlas platform to bring the SAP Fiori user experience to the mobile workforce in an optimized, elegant manner,” said Adi Kavaler, head of SAP Fiori.
