NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Citi announces the launch of a powerful new working capital analytics service that combines highly effective diagnostic capabilities, with innovative visualization technology, and real-time interactive features to deliver enhanced visibility and insights across an organization’s complete supply chain.
Designed to support the needs of large and multinational corporations operating in today’s complex global business environment, Citi Working Capital Analytics helps drive strategic decision-making for a company’s treasury, procurement and shared service center organizations. The new tool provides in-depth analysis across a company’s entire supply chain, and enables clients to dynamically interact with their payables data to explore customized recommendations for driving working capital efficiencies, process automation and reduced supply chain risk.
Citi Working Capital Analytics builds on a proprietary analytics service first launched in 2010 in North America, and complementary analysis tools available today in EMEA. Collectively, these capabilities have supported hundreds of analyses for clients seeking ways to drive working capital optimization, commercial card rebate opportunities, and lower payment-processing costs.
To develop its new next-generation service, Citi combined those existing analytics services with Citi Interactive Solutions, an award-winning, patented platform that enables companies to perform real-time scenario modeling, benchmark themselves against industry peers, and quantify potential benefits of deploying both stand-alone Citi payment services or adopting a multi-product, end-to-end supply chain strategy.
Citi Working Capital Analytics will now be available to clients globally via the Citi Interactive Solutions platform, guided by Citi’s experienced staff of analytical consultants who are strategically based in various locations worldwide.
Naveed Sultan, Global Head of Treasury and Trade Solutions said, “We recognize that ongoing technological innovation is essential to help our clients better adapt their operating models to shifting market and business demands. The launch of this new industry-leading, interactive capability is aligned with our aim to be the world’s leading digital bank that harnesses digitization, technology and analytics to provide differentiated value to our clients.”
Citi Working Capital Analytics is a critical component of Citi Integrated Payables Solutions, a holistic suite of advisory, analytics and payment services that assists organizations in optimizing working capital and maximizing efficiency across their complete supply chains. Citi announced the launch of Citi Integrated Payables Solutions, a globally available offering, at the EuroFinance International Cash & Treasury Management conference held in October 2014.
This next-generation Citi Working Capital Analytics solution was developed in collaboration with clients by an internal team of product and analytics experts based at Citi Innovation Labs in Singapore and Dublin and across Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions business globally.
Citi’s Innovation Lab in Singapore was launched in January 2011, and is one of three global innovation labs that serve clients’ needs worldwide. The labs are centers of innovation where Citi explores new ideas and service concepts and collaborate with corporate and institutional clients to develop, test, pilot and launch new solutions.
The Singapore lab leverages proprietary algorithms, analytics and interactive and visualization technologies to engage Citi’s institutional clients and deliver innovative products that solve their strategic challenges. In 2012, the Citi Innovation Lab won the prestigious Singapore National Infocomm Award for Citi Interactive Solutions, a working capital solutioning tool that helps clients visualize and comprehend how they can potentially free up trapped cash in their businesses and create value for their organizations.
