DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Design Workshop, an international landscape architecture, urban design and planning firm with work spanning the globe, has been selected by the City of Denver Parks Department and the Downtown Denver Partnership to develop a Downtown Denver Outdoor Spaces Master Plan – also known as Denver's Outdoor Downtown: Making Urban Spaces Thriving Places. Design Workshop will produce a master plan that will serve as a guiding document to direct and influence positive change in Downtown Denver’s outdoor spaces.
The team includes President Rebecca Leonard along with Meredith Wenskoski, Anna Gagne, Josh Brooks, Kathleen King, Dayton Crites and Heather Fritton.

Design Workshop will utilize its Legacy Design® methodology to create measurable outcomes in order to ensure the project’s success. In addition to planning efforts, Design Workshop will lead a robust stakeholder engagement process to incorporate input from community stakeholders and to create a common project vision. Public meetings will be held at key milestones throughout the project and the final master plan is expected to be adopted by City Council in August 2015.
