Summing up why ForgeRock won this award, Ulrich Parthier, editor-in-chief of IT Management magazine, published by it verlag, emphasised how ForgeRock has transformed the perspective of identity management from the management of internal identities, such as employees, to meet external, customer-facing, Internet-scale identity needs of large organisations around the world.
When André Thelen, Director Business Development DACH at ForgeRock, received the award he cited in his acceptance speech just how much IRM can transform the customer experience.
Thelen said: “Identity touches just about everything online. Whether we’re talking web applications or customer portals, SaaS applications or mobile apps, automobiles, set-top boxes, or wearable devices - the common thread across all of these offerings is identity. This innovation award reflects our vision to bring together a holistic approach to IRM based on a single open-source identity platform for securing anything, anywhere, on any device.”
