RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Clearview Logix, a healthcare analytics and application development company, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Evenspring’s healthcare practice. As part of the acquisition, Evenspring partner Allen Hatzimanolis will join Clearview Logix as its Chief Technology Officer. The transaction is expected to close on November 1st.
Founded by Aujang Abadi, Tyler Carbone, and Allen Hatzimanolis, Evenspring’s health division specializes in healthcare related software development, primarily serving health consumers, employers and insurance distribution channels such as marketplaces and exchanges. Evenspring is the development partner of BeneFinder, an individual insurance marketplace which has received broad acclaim for its marketplace platform functionality and unique total plan cost estimator tool.
Clearview Logix was established in late 2013 by Tim O’Shea and Larry Colley, M.D., experienced health benefits leaders and developers of patented analytic decision support models for health insurance purchasers. Clearview Logix is currently marketing the My Clearview model, which aids individuals in selecting the health plan option that minimizes their total expected cost. Clearview Logix is also the developer of Quote Master, a small group multi-carrier quoting engine that enables brokers to efficiently identify the optimal carrier and plans for a small group client.
Tim O’Shea, a founder of Clearview Logix, said, “The combination of Clearview Logix’s problem- solving approach with Evenspring’s software development capabilities will allow us to capitalize on emergent opportunities in the rapidly changing healthcare market, and also offer our partners enhanced decision support solutions. Our mission is to make the health market simpler and easier to navigate.” Clearview Logix used Evenspring to develop its web-based employer branded health plan selection tool for employees.
