WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste Political Action Committee (CCAGW PAC) announced its endorsement of two members of the Kansas congressional delegation for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives: Reps. Tim Huelskamp (R) and Mike Pompeo (R). CCAGW PAC based its endorsements on each candidate’s lifetime score as listed in CCAGW’s 2013 Congressional Ratings. Each of these candidates is a “Taxpayer Hero” with a lifetime rating of 90 percent or greater.
With a score of 92 percent, Rep. Pompeo has the highest lifetime rating of the entire Kansas congressional delegation. Rep. Huelskamp has a lifetime rating of 90 percent. If re-elected, Reps. Huelskamp and Pompeo would both be serving their third terms.
“The courageous actions of both of these public servants have helped to cut wasteful spending, reduce taxes, and make government more accountable and transparent to taxpayers,” said CCAGW PAC Chairman Tom Schatz. “I urge Kansans in the 1st and 4th Congressional Districts respectively to vote for Rep. Huelskamp and Rep. Pompeo on November 4 so that they can return to Washington, D.C. and continue to protect the interests of both their constituents and all Americans.”
CCAGW PAC is affiliated with the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste, a 501(c)(4) organization. CCAGW PAC’s mission is to support political candidates who will fight to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in government and represent the best interests of taxpayers.
