Monahan has joined the firm as director of media relations, where he will serve as the primary media relations lead for Tech Image and its client organizations.

In this role, Monahan will be responsible for continuously building traditional and digital media contacts and relationships, achieving media coverage for clients, providing strategic messaging guidance to clients and team members, tracking research and analytics, as well as coaching and managing members of the Tech Image media team.
Monahan previously led executive communications and reputation for The Timken Company, a global industrial technology leader. Prior to that, he served as director of corporate communications for Walter Energy, where he led internal and external communications, helping the company transform from a diversified conglomerate, with businesses in homebuilding and finance, manufacturing and natural resources, into a leading “pure play” producer of metallurgical coal for the global steel industry.
He holds an M.B.A. from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Fla. and a bachelor’s degree in public relations from The University of Florida, in Gainesville, Fla.
