RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The NC Tech Awards, North Carolina’s statewide recognition program honoring companies, organizations and individuals for excellence in innovation leadership, has added new categories to its traditional lineup of awards this year.
In addition to its traditional technology corporate awards, the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) will recognize companies for their use of technology; offer an expanded list of individual awards (Public Sector CIO, Tech Woman, Private Sector CIO and Tech Woman of the Year); and launch a new category for “Top 10 Startups to Watch.”
Finalists for many of these awards have been previously announced. The winners of the Top 10 Startups to Watch are a group of emerging companies with a disruptive or innovative technology, and based in North Carolina. Dozens of companies were nominated and an independent selection committee has named the following winners:
