In his role, Mr. Thompson will be responsible for running global sales growth, channel and business development for the company, with a particular focus on small, medium and enterprise strategic accounts. Mr. Thompson is a seasoned and successful Silicon Valley executive with 25 years of experience in sales, business and channel sales development for enterprise software and hardware companies.

Prior to Sideband Networks, Mr. Thompson was Executive Vice President of Global Sales & Business Development at RedSeal Networks, Inc., where he was instrumental in helping the company achieve impressive growth, closing several marquee multi-million dollar deals through a recognized CRN (VAR) Value Added Reseller program. Mr. Thompson has held executive roles at several other high-profile tech companies including Dataguise Inc., McAfee, and Trend Micro Inc. CRN Magazine also recognized Mr. Thompson as a 2014 Channel Chief for 17 years of successfully building revenue streams around the world with large distributors and strategic value added partners.
