ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Armedia LLC announced that Scott Roth, Director of Technology, has authored a new white paper for EMC titled “Find Similar Documents without Using a Full Text Index” as part of EMC’s Proven Professional Knowledge Sharing program.
The white paper provides a detailed process for discovering similar documents in a Documentum repository without having to install a full text search engine. This is accomplished through the use of a unique hashing technique and the capitalization of a novel relationship between an Aspect and a database view. This powerful search capability is achieved without any additional software being implemented, thus offering users increased usability at an extremely low cost.
Roth has more than 22 years of experience in the software industry; his last 16 years have been devoted almost entirely to the ECM space. Roth is a certified EMC Technical Architect and was named to 2014 EMC Elect, an annual recognition of partners, customers, and employees who have given back to the community of EMC users by sharing their technical expertise and evangelizing to others about EMC solutions and services.
Mr. Roth is also the author of the successful how-to book, A Beginner’s Guide to Developing Documentum Desktop Application and regularly blogs at msroth.wordpress.com.
The white paper can be read in its entirety at
