WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GEICO continues to blaze a trail through the auto insurance industry’s mobile business sector. The company has achieved the highest overall score in Forrester Research’s September 2014 report, 2014 US Mobile Auto Insurance Functionality Benchmark.
GEICO led a strong field of auto insurers with an outstanding overall score of 90 out of 100 in five categories. The company captured top scores in three categories with perfect scores for range of touchpoints, quotations and policy information and management.

With insurance business strategies focused on improving the mobile customer experience, Forrester evaluated the mobile sites and applications of nine leading U.S. private passenger auto insurers. The report measured the functionality of each company’s mobile insurance services at meeting the needs of auto insurance customers. The findings were based on 27 individual criteria in research conducted from August 1, to September 1, 2014.
GEICO was the only insurance company recognized for supporting the most consumer devices and led all evaluated insurers for end-to-end mobile sales. The perfect score in policy information and management categories led Forrester to proclaim GEICO as “The pocket auto insurer.”
