CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SmithBucklin, the association management and services company more organizations turn to than any other, is pleased to announce Benjamin Rabe, CEM, senior manager, Event Services, has been named an Association Forum of Chicagoland and USAE “Forty Under 40®” honoree. He will be featured in a special section of USAE on Nov. 20 and honored at the Forty Under 40 Awards held on Dec. 15 at the Ivy Boutique Hotel, Chicago.
A SmithBucklin employee since 2002, Rabe serves the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM), the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG), KeHE Distributors, and the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM). He plays an important oversight role in the organizations’ events, which include the International Summit & Exhibition on Health Facility Planning, Design & Construction, the ASHE Annual Conference & Technical Exhibition, the ASHRM Annual Conference & Exhibition, COLLABORATE – IOUG Forum, the KeHE Distributors Holiday & Product Innovation Show, the KeHE Distributors Summer Selling & Product Innovation Show, and The NAFEM Show.

He also helped launch HUG Chicago, a Hospitality Cares Chicago event, and is a member of Association Forum of Chicagoland. Rabe holds a degree in business administration and speech communications from Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill., and completed IAEE’s Krafkoff Leadership Institute training.
