LISLE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Molex Incorporated will highlight its complete system of Brad® Industrial Ethernet Solutions for harsh environments at the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition (IBEX), September 30–October 2, 2014, at the Tampa Convention Center in Florida. Molex booth 2135 will feature the compact M12 Cat 6a X-coded connector.
“The goal of the Ethernet solution is to increase network system reliability,” said Ted Szarkowski, global product manager, Molex. “Brad industrial cords and connectors allow multiple electronic devices to be connected together on a common channel for the purpose of easily sharing information. The products are ideal for harsh weather environments exhibiting superior resistance to water and high vibration.”
As a rugged and complete Ethernet solution system, Molex offers the broadest variety of M12 and RJ-45 Ethernet products including bayonet style latching and the Brad® Ultra-Lock® push-pull system for quick, easy mating connection. This system is ideal for harsh environments such as marine. A robust and compact M12 Cat 6a X-Coded connector design ensures that transmission performance meets TIA-568 and ISO/IEC 11801 Cat 6a specifications up to 500 Mhz for 10 Gbps Ethernet. As a result, this IP67 sealed interface system facilitates uninterrupted and reliable connections for devices communicating over the same protocol. Cable options are available with shielded or unshielded or twisted pairs for optimal signal performance without system noise interference.
