Former Sears Executive Joins Blueport to Drive Omnichannel Growth for Furniture Retailers

BOSTON--()--Blueport Commerce, the omnichannel solution for the $78 billion furniture industry, today announced the appointment of former Sears executive Randy Goldstein as Executive Vice President, Ecommerce. At Blueport, Goldstein will leverage his extensive omnichannel experience to drive growth for the furniture retailers who run their branded omnichannel websites on the Blueport SaaS platform and generate incremental sales through Blueport’s shopping portal, Furniture.com.

Goldstein joins Blueport from Sears, where he served as Divisional Vice President and General Manager, Online Home Appliances and delivered industry-leading revenue growth to reestablish the company’s dominance in the online home appliances market. He also implemented tablet-based POS systems and omnichannel commission structures in Sears retail locations. Goldstein earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BA in economics from Swarthmore College.
