MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The ZTR Diagnostic Display is designed to save potentially tens of thousands of dollars per locomotive in downtime prevention as well as cutting training costs, manpower hours, and shop time costs.
This easy-to-install display is designed to improve clarity and increase productivity. The ZTR replacement for the Dash-8, Dash-9 and AC4400 locomotive DID panels uses the existing mount and offers the ability to operate in the classic OEM mode as well as a ZTR mode. The ZTR mode includes additional features such as date and time displayed on the same screen as faults. The screen displays multiple faults or parameters in logical groups on one screen, clearly visible contactor states and switch positions, and more.
“ZTR is committed to making aging locomotives run more efficiently and cost-effectively,” said Dave Brooks, Rail Product Development Manager at ZTR. “Products like the ZTR Diagnostic Display help modernize locomotives at a fraction of the cost of buying new.”
