MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Expert Latinos, a free online service that helps connect journalists with Hispanic experts and sources for their stories, recently announced the launch of ExpertLatinos.com. The website serves as an invaluable platform for Hispanic media to quickly find and connect with experts.
Reporters and media professionals simply fill out a request form on ExpertLatinos.com detailing the source they are looking to interview or quote in their story. The request is then distributed in a daily email alert that goes directly to the database of Latino experts whom have subscribed to the service. If the expert is a match, they can then respond directly to the journalists via the email they provided.
“Expert Latinos is the perfect tool for journalists and reporters who are looking to interview Hispanic experts or sources, especially when they are on a tight deadline,” said Paola Sanchez, co-founder of Expert Latinos. “We’ve already helped numerous journalists find exactly what they were looking for, from reporters looking for health experts, business entrepreneurs to lifestyle experts.”
Since its launch in April 2014, Expert Latinos has already helped journalists from top Hispanic media outlets including Telemundo, EFE America, El Diario/La Prensa, Yahoo! en Español and La Opinion connect with Hispanic experts and currently has more than 500 experts subscribed to the service.
“The feedback we have received from reporters has been amazing, particularly because we are tailored to helping Hispanic media find experts who speak Spanish or are bilingual,” said Carmen Ordonez, co-founder of Expert Latinos. “We are excited to fill this void and help simplify the way Hispanic media finds experts for their stories.”
Requests from journalists and reporters can also be submitted anonymously and is free to both journalists and experts. To subscribe or to submit a request for an expert, please visit www.ExpertLatinos.com.
