DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global data center services provider CyrusOne (NASDAQ: CONE) is pleased to announce it will exhibit at the fifth annual San Antonio IT Symposium. Leaders from the region’s IT community are expected to come together to share best practices and explore new ways to leverage IT as an advantage in an increasingly competitive global industry. The symposium is going to be held Wednesday, Sept. 10, at the San Antonio Convention Center.
CyrusOne plans to sponsor a breakout session as part of the symposium’s programming. Michael Bertasz, enterprise IT architect at Weatherford International, is going to lead the session. He will discuss Weatherford International’s recent initiative to redesign every aspect of its data center environment in North America. Bertasz is also going to explain how this project aimed to reach multiple enterprise goals, including the establishment of a new technical architecture and a path toward a private cloud environment. The breakout session is scheduled to take place at 11:00 a.m.
“The San Antonio IT Symposium is a great opportunity for CyrusOne to interact with the larger IT community,” said Scott Brueggeman, chief marketing officer, CyrusOne. “We are excited that CyrusOne customer Michael Bertasz of Weatherford International will share how he is using colocation data centers to achieve Weatherford’s enterprise goals. The session should provide some valuable insights and pragmatic ideas to San Antonio’s IT leaders.”
