TEMPE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--VCA Tri City Animal Hospital and Acacia Cat Hospital, located in Tempe, Arizona, were hit by a powerful storm on Sunday. The strong wind and rain caused significant damage to the animal hospital located at 2332 East Broadway in Tempe and no staff or animals were injured. The five pets on site at the time the storm hit are safe and were evacuated to the nearby sister hospital, VCA Elliot Park Animal Hospital located about five miles away. The pets’ owners have been contacted and are aware of the situation.
VCA is currently assessing the damage and working in cooperation with the city to restore operations at the Tri City Animal Hospital and Acacia Cat Hospital location. In the interim, the hospital will be operating and referring clients to its nearby location at:
