New Trulia Profiles Help Agents Connect to and Build Trust with Consumers, Grow Their Businesses

Enhanced profile design showcases skills and expertise; help consumers find the right agent

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Trulia (NYSE: TRLA), a leading online marketplace for home buyers, sellers, renters, and real estate professionals, today released new Trulia Agent Profiles, making it easier than ever for agents to build their online brand and connect with new clients. Trulia Agent Profiles now feature 5-star ratings and reviews, larger photos and infographics, enhanced editing tools, and an optimized lead generation form. Consumers benefit from the visually enhanced profile pages that make it easy to research and contact agents that have the unique skills and experience that address their specific needs. The service is free for both agents and consumers.

“With the new Trulia Profiles, we are delivering a service that exemplifies Trulia’s thriving, two-sided marketplace serving the needs of consumers who are looking for insights during their home search, while generating opportunities for brokers and agents to connect with them,” said Pete Flint, CEO of Trulia.

New Benefits for Agents

For agents, the new reviews and ratings act as free endorsements from their past clients and offer the social proof needed to generate free profile referrals. The new profile experience is also mobile optimized, enabling the more than 25 million monthly unique mobile visitors to Trulia to see agent profiles while they are on-the-go, for example touring neighborhoods and viewing open homes.

Additionally, an ‘improve your profile’ tool helps agents continuously improve their profile to better position themselves in Trulia search results and expand their exposure. Not only will agents benefit from the enhanced look and feel of their profiles, they can use simple in-line editing tools to improve their profile and be seen by more consumers in the agent directory.

New Benefits for Consumers

Consumers visiting an agent’s Trulia profile will notice larger photos, simpler navigation and a more engaging design, making it easier to understand the agent’s strengths more quickly. From there they can easily navigate with tabs near the top of the page. The tabs take them alternatively to; an overview of the agent and their experience; reviews from other clients; a detailed list of all the agent’s current and sold listings; a bio section written by the agent; and an overview of the agent’s contributions to the Trulia Voices community.

Find an Agent directory

The new Trulia Agent Profiles will continue to be hosted in Trulia’s Find an Agent directory, which was launched last summer. Trulia’s Find an Agent directory is one of the largest searchable online databases of active real estate professionals. According to the most recent NAR study, the #1 feature consumers look for in an agent is trust and integrity. Reviews on Trulia profiles are specifically designed to address this consumer need.

Agents can see their new profile by logging into www.trulia.com/myprofile. Consumers can look for agents at www.trulia.com/directory.
