PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--D.A. Davidson, an employee-owned full-service investment firm based in the Northwest, today announced the hire of seasoned research analysts Paula Poskon and Barry Oxford to lead the firm’s new real estate research team. The hiring of Poskon as senior vice president and Oxford as vice president, along with the recent addition of senior real estate investment bankers Keith Getter and Kyle Kaylor, underscores D.A. Davidson’s strategic commitment to build a best-in-class real estate team. Poskon, who starts on Sept. 2, and Oxford, who started on Jul. 28, will work from the firm’s new New York City office and report directly to John Rogers, head of institutional research for D.A. Davidson.

Oxford comes to Davidson with more than 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate sector, most recently as an analyst for Discern Inc. covering the office and industrial sectors. He previously was a senior portfolio manager in the global real estate securities group at AIMS Financial Group and at Colonial First State. Prior to his work as a portfolio manager, Oxford was a real estate analyst for UBS, Invesco Realty Advisors and Alex. Brown & Sons. He received his MBA from Rollins College, Crummer Graduate School of Business, and graduated from Denison University with bachelor’s degrees in economics and English.
Poskon has nearly 15 years of experience as an analyst, with nearly 10 years in the real estate sector. Prior to joining D.A. Davidson, Poskon was a real estate analyst for Robert W. Baird & Co. Previously, she was a research associate on the food and beverage team for Lehman Brothers. Poskon received her MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and also graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in economics with a concentration in accounting.
