VIENNA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vector Technical Resources (Vector), an award-winning, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) IT staffing firm, proudly announces several significant milestones, namely a 600% increase in revenue over the past year alone. As a result of this exponential growth, Vector has hired a new Senior Account Director and Human Resources (HR) Generalist, and has relocated offices to a larger space in Vienna, VA, to accommodate the firm’s ever-increasing expansion and successes already seen in 2014.
Offering both the commercial and public sectors world-class IT and professional talent on a Contract, Contract-to-Hire and Direct Hire basis, Vector has seen a recent upsurge in business. Stemming from the impressive increase in annual revenue since July of 2013, Vector has relocated offices to a larger, 3,000 square foot office space at 1577 Spring Hill Road in Vienna, VA. This office expansion will allow Vector to continue to provide entities with customized staffing solutions, which are established with the organization’s overall, long-term objectives in mind.
This recent relocation of offices acted as the catalyst to bring on two new employees to assist Vector in providing entities with hand-selected, top IT talent. Barbara Alexander Rorer will act as a Senior Account Director, and is responsible for the onboarding of new government and commercial sector clients. Prior to joining the Vector team, Alexander Rorer was the Business Development Manager at The Goal, Inc., a technology consulting firm in the Washington, DC area. Drawing from her more than twenty years of experience, Alexander Rorer will deliver strategic business development strategies to assist Vector in achieving an additional 500% increase in revenue by the end of 2016.
Vector also welcomes Katrina Gray who will serve the internal Vector team as an HR Generalist. In her new capacity, Gray is responsible for all in-house compensation, benefits, employee relations, and other related areas. With her excellent communication skills and a fervent drive for efficiency, Gray will prove to be an invaluable asset to the company to help continue to position Vector for future growth and ongoing organizational development.
“We are thrilled to bring on two new team members, and relocate to a new, larger office space to help us better serve our clients,” said Marc Berman, President of Vector. “This will enable us to put Vector at the forefront of the talent acquisition space, providing us with the opportunity to meet our growing number of clients’ needs within the rapidly changing technology sector.”
