President of Pest Management Organization Joins Lutheran Foundation Board

BROOKFIELD, Wis.--()--Siebert Lutheran Foundation’s board of directors has announced the addition of its newest board member, Deni Naumann. Naumann will fill the vacancy created when former board member Brenda Skelton transitioned to her current role as President of Siebert Lutheran Foundation in August 2013.

Since 2006, Naumann has been president of Copesan Services, Inc., an alliance of pest management companies serving North America. At Copesan, she sets the bar high on quality and performance metrics, and is also known for consistently praising and intentionally inspiring co-workers. Previously, Naumann served as Vice President of Business Development for Essential Industries from 1997-2006, and she spent 16 years with S.C. Johnson between 1981 and 1997. During her last three years with S.C. Johnson, she was a Trustee for Johnson Wax Foundation.

In 2013, Naumann earned PCT Magazine’s prestigious Crown Leadership Award for excellence, recognizing her investment in community and business relationships within the structural pest management industry. Outside of this industry, she is committed to community service, including serving as a tutor to improve adult literacy with the Literary Council of Greater Waukesha. Naumann has also been involved with the Greater Milwaukee Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). In particular, Naumann has served as chair of the board of directors for the Outreach for Hope Fund. This fund supports ministries to disadvantaged individuals within the Greater Milwaukee Synod and is a key part of the synod’s commitment to be “in the city for good.”

“Deni brings a rich history of involvement in her home congregation, the Greater Milwaukee Synod of the ELCA, and Outreach for Hope,” said Skelton. “In addition, her business career has afforded her the opportunity to experience corporate philanthropic decision-making. We are confident her knowledge and experience of the Lutheran community and her strong business leadership skills will further strengthen our board of directors.”

Deni and her husband, Mike, are active members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls, Wis. They “just knocked our socks off” with their willingness to serve and their experience in leadership, said Holy Cross Pastor Meredith Musaus.

The Naumanns currently live in Brookfield, Wis. They have one daughter, Sarah, age 23, who attends graduate school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
