Red Sox Summer Baseball Camps and Girls Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts among Camps that Select Smart Lunches

BOSTON--()--Smart Lunches, Inc., the innovative on-line lunch ordering and delivery service, announced it will be partnering with more than 70 day camps and summer programs in eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire and the Philadelphia area to provide hot and cold meal service this summer. Every year since the launch of its camp program, Smart Lunches has more than doubled the number of camps with which it partners.

Among the camps that have selected Smart Lunches are the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts with 8 locations, and the Red Sox Summer Baseball Camps with 7 locations, as well as Summer@Carroll Camp, Camp Sewataro, Maplewood Country Day Camp, and Everwood Day Camp.

This is the first summer that Smart Lunches will be available in the Philadelphia area. To date, there are 15 camps and summer programs, including BETTERBALL! Basketball Camp and Burn Brae Day Camp of Creative Arts.

In preparation for the 2014 camp season, Smart Lunches has brought back favorite camp menu items from its first two years, and added fun new selections like chicken enchiladas and cheese tortellini with marinara sauce. The online ordering experience has been enhanced to save parents even more time by automating much of the process.

"We're excited to partner with Smart Lunches to offer our Red Sox Summer Baseball Camp families a variety of fresh meals that will be delivered directly to their kids," said Brendan Sullivan, President of Red Sox Summer Baseball Camps Presented by New Balance. "Smart Lunches is a real value-add to our program and their focus on convenience for parents and high-quality, nutritious food for our campers makes them the right choice for us."

"Parents deserve a summer break as much as their kids do. And a lot of camps don't have the facilities to provide lunch on-site, so they're eager to partner with us to help their families," said Emily Green, CEO and Chief Lunch Lady at Smart Lunches. “Our unique online experience and dedicated network of caterers guarantees that we can provide the best service from beginning to end.”
