Visible Measures Launches Fabric, the First Demand-Side Platform for Content Marketers

VivaKi’s Audience On Demand is the Launch Partner for the Breakthrough Platform that Enables Engagement Buying

BOSTON--()--Visible Measures, the leader in video content marketing, today announced the release of FabricSM, the market’s first demand-side platform (DSP) designed specifically for brand marketers to buy consumer engagement. This breakthrough offering puts brands, agencies, trading desks, and publishers in control of their campaigns, allowing them to plan, manage, and optimize for brand engagement through a programmatic self-service interface.

Today’s consumers have more choice and control over their media consumption than ever before. So it’s important that brands engage viewers with non-disruptive media in order to capitalize on the benefits of engagement – higher brand awareness, recall, consideration, and purchase intent.

Fabric creates engagement by connecting Visible Measures’ big data, campaign benchmarks, and third-party supply partners with its own proprietary inventory, earned media projection technology, and unique ad experiences. Unlike traditional DSPs, Fabric’s offering is the first of its kind to focus on native experiences and other consumer opt-in media such as skippable in-stream ads, where buyers are only charged when consumers engage with at least 30 seconds of their video advertising.

“With the pairing of our data footprint, the broadest in the industry, and new media opportunities such as native, Fabric helps content marketers place their content in the most integrated, non-disruptive experiences,” said Visible Measures CEO Brian Shin. “When marketers control their campaigns with this self-service offering, they can make sure that their great content is put in front of consumers, where they can choose to view it, engage with it, and share it.”

VivaKi’s Audience On Demand™ (AOD) is a partner for the breakthrough programmatic offering. A leading ad tech solutions provider for Publicis Groupe, VivaKi also added Visible Measures to its Ventures portfolio and partnered with the company during the launch of its innovative earned media planning tool, Contagion, in 2013.

“Visible Measures has been a long-time innovator in the video space and we’ve been fortunate to partner with them across many of their pioneering efforts to more effectively measure and predict earned media,” said Sean Kegelman, VivaKi’s EVP AOD Product & Commercial Strategy. “Now, Fabric is empowering VivaKi’s AOD team to drive brand engagement for owned assets, while generating maximum positive returns and earned media.”

A self-service platform like Fabric answers marketers need for more control and faster, more efficient ways to run, optimize, and report on campaigns. With Fabric, partners like VivaKi’s AOD are able to leverage their unique internal expertise and Visible Measures’ tools and data to drive better decision-making and marketing results.

Founded as a measurement and analytics company, Visible Measures subsequently developed a choice-based video network and delivery platform driven by its deep consumer and campaign insights. The success of this flagship platform, and the advertising model it inspired, led to the development of Fabric, a natural evolution for the Boston-based company.

Visible Measures will continue to evolve Fabric and its capabilities over the next few months in order to ensure brands are only running in viewable placements.
