OMAHA, Neb.--()--Perigon Networks, whose main brands include Managed.com and PowerDNN, has announced that information technology expert Patrick Sutton has joined its corporate leadership team. Sutton will be managing the company’s growing cloud infrastructure department as the new Senior Network Engineer.

“Patrick brings a wealth of IT and advanced networking experience to our engineering team,” says Tony Valenti, CEO. “With more than 17 years of experience in the information technology field, Patrick is uniquely qualified to help our team as we continue to expand our global network.”

Previously, Sutton worked for Dell Computer Corporation as an on-site Systems Engineer, managing the IT and networking needs for Dell clients within the Midwest Region. Sutton also has extensive experience working with Microsoft-based server deployments, and building datacenter clusters utilizing Cisco hardware for advanced configurations.

Sutton was instrumental in building the network architecture for several supercomputers with more than 2,000 individual nodes. These high-performance computing (HPC) clusters are used for advanced data science and “big data” scientific research at the prestigious Holland Computing Center.

Sutton will draw on his extensive experience working with complicated, large-scale datacenter and network infrastructure configurations in his role as Senior Network Engineer for Managed.com and PowerDNN, and help manage their growing global network and infrastructure.
