DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--One year after opening the doors to the company’s MyHealth Clinic, TXU Energy reports that its on-site clinic has served thousands of North Texas employees and their family members who have taken advantage of affordable healthcare options, exercised preventative health measures and even uncovered health conditions such as heart disease and cancer before they became more serious.
Housed at the company’s Customer Operations Facility in Irving, TXU Energy’s MyHealth Clinic provides employees and their families with on-site access to primary and preventative care, as well as therapy for chronic pain and soft tissue injuries.

Since its opening in 2013, the clinic has successfully:
- Reduced employee travel time to and from appointments by nearly 4,000 hours.
- Detected and diagnosed serious conditions such as heart disease, cancer and respiratory issues.
- Conducted more than 180 annual physical exams.
- Served more than 60 employee family members.
- Booked an average of 30 appointments per week.
- Referred employees with serious ailments immediately to emergency facilities or primary care physicians.
- Operated weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
