Before joining the firm, Ronald Demsher had substantial involvement in all phases of patent litigation, as well as experience in patent prosecution, due diligence, and opinion work. Ronald’s practice focuses on areas such as electrical devices and systems, wireless communications, networks, telephony, medical devices, software/firmware products, energy storage devices, speech recognition, optics, mechanical devices and systems, display/speaker systems, and laser scanners.

Prior to practicing law, Ronald was an electrical engineer at Raytheon for 14 years, designing and developing commercial and military communications systems. Ronald’s experience in digital design includes spread spectrum hardware, cryptographic systems, high-accuracy frequency reference and chronometer systems, high-speed electrical interfaces, and ASIC/multi-chip modules. His system design experience includes wideband HF systems, microwave systems ranging from 1 to 20 GHz, and a millimeter-wave (93 GHz) IFF system.

Ronald earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in microwave propagation from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and his Law degree from Suffolk University Law School.
