Veggies In Space The Fennel Frontier Trailer

FRANKLIN, Tenn.--()--VeggieTales®, the global leader in kids’ faith-based home entertainment, today announced the release of an all-new, never-before-seen adventure, Veggies in Space: The Fennel Frontier. The sensational new DVD blasts into general market and Christian retail stores, and online for digital download, March 11, 2014, just in time for the Easter season.

Boldly going where no Veggie has gone yet, Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato, two of the most recognized home entertainment characters among moms of pre-schoolers, take on the heroic theme of space exploration in their new roles as Captain Cuke and Mr. Spork. At the heart of their out-of-this-world adventure is an important lesson in sharing that is underscored in several, relatable ways for young viewers.

Joining the spotlight with everyone’s favorite Veggies is Grammy®-nominated and Dove Award®-winning artist, Jamie Grace. The popular singer-song writer shines on the official DVD single “Enough to Share,” which features a giggle-inducing rap hook by Larry the Cucumber. Larry is also featured in a song of his own, titled “Asteroid Cowboys,” during the brand’s signature “Silly Songs with Larry” portion of the DVD.

“Veggies in Space is going to be a favorite show that both kids and their parents will enjoy watching over and over again,” said Leslie Ferrell, president of Big idea Entertainment. “It has all the silly songs and antics that children love, hilarious adventures aboard the USS Applepies and a great lesson in sharing that parents will appreciate. Plus, the addition of Jamie Grace as a guest musical artist is the icing on the cake!”

The fun continues with numerous DVD bonus features including sing-along songs for two catchy tunes, “Asteroid Cowboys” and “Enough to Share” (performed by Junior Asparagus in the show). Jamie Grace fans can also enjoy her rendition of the song in a special “Enough to Share” lyric video, as well as watch exclusive behind the scenes footage of her in the studio during the recording. After their musical jam session, Veggie fans can check out other bonus features, such as a craft tutorial on building a spaceship just like Bob and Larry’s.
