Samsung Mobile Fortifies Enterprise Leadership Position with New Comprehensive Services and Solutions for Businesses

Samsung Enterprise Services™ designed to support full product lifecycle

2014 International CES

LAS VEGAS--()--As businesses adopt mobile technology at an unprecedented pace, the need for best in class support and services is growing rapidly. As part of its commitment to provide comprehensive business solutions, Samsung Telecommunications America, LLC (Samsung Mobile) today announces Samsung Enterprise Services, a portfolio of services which supports customers through the entire lifecycle of a mobile device deployment and integrates with existing Samsung Mobile enterprise offerings.

Samsung Enterprise Services provides customers with support options in two essential areas – deployment services and ongoing management. Together with Digital Management, Inc. (DMI), Samsung Mobile now offers a full range of mobile enterprise services including initial needs assessment, device configuration and migration, deployment and development of customized services.

The second component of Samsung Enterprise Services is Samsung MobileCare for Enterprise which offers ongoing management support and dedicated service for business customers. Samsung MobileCare simplifies the maintenance, support and management of Samsung Mobile devices – both corporate-issued and employee-owned – through training, technical support, certified repair and extended warranty care.

Samsung Mobile will also be the first mobile device manufacturer to establish a strategic relationship with OtterBox to supply a complete and complementary portfolio of accessory solutions for enterprise customers.

These alliances with industry leaders such as DMI and OtterBox will assist businesses with their deployment of devices and solutions via best-in-class processes and procedures while minimizing resource- and headcount-intensive capital investments involved with mobile migrations.

“Samsung Mobile customers are deploying hundreds, thousands or even tens of thousands of our highly sought-after, secure devices in a very short period of time given their need to replace legacy hardware,” said Tim Wagner, Vice President and General Manager of Samsung Mobile’s Enterprise Business Unit. “For these customers, an investment in a mobile initiative is much greater than just the cost of purchasing the devices. They require the very best in security, solutions and services which we can now seamlessly deliver via Samsung Knox, the Samsung Solutions Exchange and Samsung Enterprise Services.”

With Samsung Enterprise Services, Samsung Mobile builds upon its rapidly growing success in serving businesses. In 2013, Samsung Mobile introduced the Knox security platform and also launched the Samsung Solutions Exchange to help businesses embrace a “mobile-first” philosophy and turn off-the-shelf consumer devices into purpose-driven business tools. By combining these offerings with Samsung Enterprise Services, Samsung Mobile has further strengthened its comprehensive portfolio of enterprise solutions and services.

“Samsung Knox brings real enterprise-grade security and privacy protection to Android. This is a huge benefit for end users and IT,” said Jay Sunny Bajaj, DMI founder and CEO. “Establishing a relationship with DMI to provide enterprise managed mobility services further extends Samsung’s leadership in the enterprise market. We are very excited to be a part of this industry changing relationship and in helping to lead the charge in empowering working professionals to decide which mobile device best fits their needs for work and play.”
