Xfinity Sportstacular! Offers Unprecedented All-Access Pass to Popular Sports Networks and Live Events across Platforms

Thursday Night Football, Big Ten and Pac-12 College Football and NHL Hockey Among Sporting Events Xfinity TV Customers Can Experience From November 11 – 17

PHILADELPHIA--()--Comcast today announced “Xfinity Sportstacular!,” a week-long event that gives Xfinity TV customers an all-access pass to a massive amount of live sports programming for no additional cost. From November 11-17, Xfinity TV customers will have the chance to watch content from networks such as NFL Network, Big Ten Network (BTN), Pac-12 Networks, ESPN Goal Line, FOX Sports 1, NBA TV, NHL Network and NBC Sports Network (NBCSN). Much of this programming will be available for customers to watch live wherever they are – on TV, online at Xfinity.com/TV and on mobile devices via the recently launched Xfinity TV Go app.

“Xfinity TV has been the home for Most Live Sports for years, but we’ve never offered sports fans anything like this,” said Matt Lederer, Director, Digital and Sports Marketing Strategy at Comcast Cable. “We’re not only opening up access to live sporting events on the biggest screen in our customers’ homes; but with our Xfinity TV Go app, we’re making it possible for them to stream much of this sports programming over the Internet live to their devices as well.”

During Sportstacular!, Comcast will provide access to networks typically offered to customers on one of Xfinity TV’s various sports packages. Key match-ups from these networks include: Indianapolis Colts against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday Night Football (NFL Network), a Friday night NHL Eastern Conference showdown between the Detroit Red Wings and the Washington Capitals (NHL Network); and some of the hottest college rivalries on Saturday (BTN and the Pac-12 Networks).

Additional Sportstacular! partners include beIN SPORT, beIN SPORT en Español, CBS Sports Network, ESPN Goal Line, FOX College Sports, FOX Sports 1, Golf Channel, NBA TV, NBCSN, and Tennis Channel. Of these, beIN SPORT, beIN SPORT en Español, BTN, FOX Sports 1, Golf Channel, NBCSN and Pac-12 Networks will be accessible to Xfinity TV customers on the Xfinity TV Go app. During the week, Comcast also will open up Xfinity On Demand content such as The Big Break NFL (Golf Channel), NBA game highlights (NBA TV), NHL game highlights (NHL Network and NBCSN) and The Ultimate Fighter (FOX Sports 1).

Customers can use the Xfinity Sportstacular! microsite (www.xfinity.com/livesports) to watch live coverage, help navigate through all of the week’s action and find a complete list of programming being made available throughout the week. Content availability could vary across platforms (Xfinity On Demand, Xfinity.com/TV, Xfinity TV Go) and markets, and in most cases can be viewed regardless of a customer’s subscription level.

Xfinity Sportstacular! follows on the heels of similar events designed to highlight the content available on Xfinity On Demand: Watchathon, Summer of Kids, Fall TV Fest and Freeview Latino.
