KIYOSU, Japan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Toyoda Gosei (TOKYO:7282) is exhibiting at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show held at the Tokyo Big Sight from Nov. 22 through Dec. 1, 2013.
On Nov.21, from 12:30 to 12:45 pm, Tadashi Arashima, President of Toyoda Gosei, will hold a press briefing at our booth (E3012 in the East Hall), and we look forward to seeing you there.
During the Motor Show, Toyoda Gosei Group will present its latest innovations, targeting a contribution towards safer, more comfortable, and eco-friendly vehicles, using our rubber, plastic polymer and LED technologies. Our exhibits will include the Safe and Eco-friendly Wire-made Exhibition Car, equipped with our airbags and lightweight products, the Airbag Simulator, and radiator grills which are excellent in designability.
The following are our main exhibits:
(1) Wire-made Exhibition Car
This exhibition car shows features of our products including various types of airbags and a pop-up hood actuator, which improve safety, lightweight weatherstrips and a plastic fuel filler pipe, which reduce fuel consumption, and energy-saving LED lighting.
(2) Airbag Simulator
With this simulator, visitors can witness how airbags are activated in the event of a collision.
(3) Decoration and Multi-functional Products
Our plating and coating technologies allow for radiator grills to meet customers’ various tastes, and for console boxes to have various functions.
(4) Interactive Smart Steering Wheel
This is one of our proposals for better vehicles in the future. We equip a steering wheel, a vital interface between a driver and a car, with a range of convenient functions for driver comfort and safety.
