CARY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Novation awards MYCO Medical a dual-source contract through September 2016 for its blades, non-safety scalpels and blade removal devices. Additionally, the leading medical distributor secures the exclusive private label NOVAPLUS contract for its safety scalpels. Through this three-year agreement with two one-year options, MYCO Medical – which provides high quality, innovative and affordable medical and surgical devices to the healthcare, dental and veterinary fields – will supply contracting needs to Novation’s more than 65,000 VHA, UHC and Provista member organizations and affiliates.

With its Novation contract, MYCO’s products represent a 30 to 40 percent cost saving difference from the market leader.
