ICF International Names Debra Tomchek Vice President

Appointment Strengthens ICF's U.S. Federal Human Resource and Capital Management Work

FAIRFAX, Va.--()--ICF International, a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has named Debra Tomchek to the position of vice president for ICF.

With more than 35 years of experience, including 15 years of federal senior executive experience, Ms. Tomchek’s appointment expands ICF’s expertise in human resource and capital management work for the U.S. federal government. Throughout her career, Ms. Tomchek has demonstrated results in executing major government policies and programs, conducting multi-sector workforce planning, and developing innovative approaches for federal human resource organizations.

“Debra Tomchek brings in-depth federal experience and a proven track record of workable solutions for difficult government problems,” said Jeffrey Neal, senior vice president for ICF International. “She will be a key to ICF’s continued growth in the federal government market.”

Ms. Tomchek most recently held the position of executive director at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Chief Human Capital Office, where she was recognized as a federal leader in devising and implementing a department-wide program for conducting multi-sector workforce planning to address mission risk. She has also served as director of human resources for two cabinet agencies and was recognized by the secretary of the Treasury for her contributions in establishing the Office of Financial Stability. Ms. Tomchek also has held senior management positions at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Mint.

Ms. Tomchek holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature and education from Christopher Newport College and a master’s degree in counseling and psychology from The College of William and Mary.
