New Adobe EchoSign Release Delivers Offline Signing for iOS

Multi-million Dollar Data Center Plans Additionally Unveiled to Support Growing Customer Demand for EchoSign Platform

SAN JOSE, Calif.--()--Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) today announced an update to the Adobe® EchoSign® e-signing offering with an updated offline iOS app and other new features to enhance mobility and usability for e-signing contracts, agreements and other critical business documents.

Adobe also announced plans for a multi-million dollar data center for Adobe EchoSign. The new facility, based in Chicago, will help to increase performance and availability to support the growing customer demand for the EchoSign platform, while complementing the existing data center in Dallas, and will come online this summer.

Enhanced iOS Support Headlines New EchoSign Features

  • Adobe EchoSign for iOS version 2 – Now Adobe EchoSign users can get business done whether they’re online or offline and have access to all of their critical documents regardless of location. Adobe EchoSign for iOS version 2 lets you sign documents offline and automatically synchronize them back to the cloud on your iPad. A completely redesigned user interface for sending, signing and managing transactions simplifies signing documents or getting documents signed in-person when sender and signer are co-located. Leveraging Adobe's unique expertise in document processing, PDF rendering and intuitive user interface design, the iOS native signing interface is optimized for touch interfaces and features high quality zoom and smooth navigation.
  • Real-time calculations – Create dynamic contracts by building fields into your contracts for which values get automatically calculated based on a formula or rule. For example, using the real-time calculation function, if a customer changes the size or volume of a shipment within the contract, the price is recalculated. Calculations can be based on form fields or other calculated fields and can include mathematical functions or conditional logic.
  • Improved document readability – Significantly improved image quality and performance through best in industry Adobe image processing libraries allow users to zoom in and out for better readability of agreements during signing and form field authoring.
  • Brand enhancements – With this release, the already customizable and easy electronic signing experience has been improved to better align with the customers brand and business processes when getting documents signed.

These new tools – plus the recently announced EchoSign for SalesForce version 13, which enables easier collaboration, onboarding and signer verification, among other features – help companies further reduce sales cycles, be more productive with their workflows and deliver an engaging user experience.
