Blacklane Entering the U.S. Market

The limousine and chauffeur service provider Blacklane expands to Chicago

BERLIN & CHICAGO--()--Europe is not enough. After firmly establishing its limousine service throughout the Old World, the Berlin-based company Blacklane is now venturing into the USA, starting with Chicago. Following a successful trial period to fine-tune the system in accordance to local circumstances, the chauffeur provider is now ready to conquer the States.

And while sleek, black, chauffeur-driven business limousines are not a new sight to the city, Blacklane’s concept is: “Our goal is to be our client’s steady companion during their journey,” explains Dr. Jens Wohltorf, director and co-founder of the company. “When you are planning ahead for a business trip, your next holidays or visiting clients abroad, you can book us right along with your flight. The times where you have to look around for taxis or other means of getting around after arrival are finally over.” Spontaneous customers will not be turned away either - with a minimum lead time of just 15 minutes, Blacklane is confident to fulfill all travel needs for business people, residents and weary travelers alike. And the best thing is: All prices are fixed upon booking.

“We follow a strict fair-price policy in order to guarantee not only a maximum comfort and reliability, but also a perfect alternative to taking a taxi”, adds Frank Steuer, co-founder and director. “We believe Chicago to be a prime destination for our services, with a total number of travelers exceeding 40 million a year.”

Blacklane’s limousine service covers the whole city and surrounding area, with regular destinations including the central business district, one of the numerous financial institutions or popular tourist destinations along the waterfront. Even transfers to one of the neighboring states Wisconsin, Indiana or Michigan are available - as long as either starting point or destination lies in the Chicago Metropolitan Area.

During the trial period, Blacklane has received a tremendous amount of positive response from customers and local partner companies alike, demonstrating that the black limousines are on the rise within the passenger transportation business. “We attract thousands of new clients every month,” Steuer adds with delight, “Our existing customers are satisfied with each new expansion, knowing that their transportation needs will be taken care of with a steadily high quality level.”

The limousine service can easily be booked with just a few clicks in either the smartphone app or on the website www.blacklane.com. Three distinguished vehicle categories are available to the clients, from business class limousines to luxury vans and first class sedans.

With the recent expansion, Blacklane limousines are now available in nine countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Switzerland, UK and the United States.
