DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., & MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Chamberlain College of Nursing and the Philippine-American Nurses Association of South East Florida (PNASEF) announced a new education program that provides members with an education partner tuition rate for Chamberlain’s post licensure online degree options.
As the U.S. healthcare system evolves and support for more advanced nursing education builds, employers have demonstrated hiring preference for registered nurses (RNs) prepared at the baccalaureate and graduate levels1. Despite this trend, only 32 percent of RNs in Southeast Florida hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, compared to 40 percent in the state and 49 percent nationwide 2. Chamberlain and PNASEF’s collaboration will facilitate Filipino-American nurses’ academic progression, while providing a competitive edge in the job market and broadening their scope of practice3.

Through this education program, members of PNASEF who meet Chamberlain’s admission requirements will receive an education partner tuition rate for Chamberlain's RN to BSN online degree option, RN-BSN to Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) online option, MSN degree program and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree program. Benefits also include a waived application fee and a designated Chamberlain admissions representative who will provide enrollment assistance specifically for PNASEF members.
