NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SFX Entertainment, Inc. today announced it has agreed to acquire Beatport, the leading global online brand for DJs and fans of electronic dance music. With almost 40 million unique users per year, Beatport has become the premier on-line destination for dance music downloads, mixes, live DJ performances and news.
The agreement follows recent announcements from SFX of its acquisitions of dance music promoters, festivals, events and nightclub businesses. Beatport is SFX’s first digital acquisition.

SFX also recently announced the acquisition of promoter Huka Entertainment and the Miami Marketing Group, which operates LIV at the Fontainebleau Hotel and the newly opened Story in Miami Beach.
