LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The 2012 heroes of the network world were announced at a Black Tie Awards Ceremony in London. The awards are aimed at acknowledging individuals who have made an outstanding effort in understanding and implementing delivery of first class network performance for their companies.
The winners were chosen by an eminent panel of judges drawn from across the industry and chaired by David Clarke MBE, CEO BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The judges selected more than 25 finalists from a wide-range of consulting companies, service providers, equipment manufacturers as well as businesses with unique enterprise networks – all of which involve network heroes who address daily challenges.
Nominees included network experts from the BBC, British Telecom, Cable & Wireless, Cisco, Huawei, Northrop Grumman, Thomson Reuters, Virgin Media Business, Verizon, Vocality, Vodafone and HSBC.
