HIGHLAND, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Four Foods Group, a Highland, Utah-based restaurant development agency, was listed on Inc. magazine’s 2012 Inc. 500 list. The Inc. 500 list honors the 500 fastest growing companies in the United States. The Four Foods Group experienced 2,283 percent growth over the past three years. The company’s 2011 end of year revenue was more than $12.5 million with a 2012 run rate of more than $23 million.
The Four Foods Group was founded by CEO Andrew K. Smith and partner and CMO Shauna K. Smith in 2008. The company joined forces with the Utah-based brand, Kneaders Bakery and Café, when the Smiths became the franchisees for Kneaders’ Lehi location. Kneaders has since become one of the fastest growing restaurant franchises in Utah. The Four Foods Group worked closely with the founders and current owners of Kneaders Bakery & Café, Gary and Colleen Worthington, and has acquired the exclusive development rights to expand the Kneaders organization throughout Utah, Colorado, Arizona and Nevada.
The Four Foods Group will be undergoing a major expansion in September 2012. The company will be relocating to a 4,500-square-foot corporate office space and 12,000-square-foot warehouse in American Fork, Utah. The move will allow the company to centralize all of the distribution of the retail goods it sends out to its restaurants along with staging for new restaurants. The new space will be replacing the company’s current 1,400-square-foot corporate office space and 2,600-square-foot warehouse. The relocation will equal a 500 percent increase in office space for The Four Foods Group.
“We are delighted to be recognized as one of the 500 fastest growing companies in the country,” says Smith. “It is nice to give recognition to all those that have made this possible, from the founders of the Kneaders brand, Gary and Colleen Worthington, down to my dishwasher in each of our restaurants. Everyone has made this happen. I am delighted to be part of it.”
The Four Foods Group is a regular supporter of local food banks, shelters and military personnel. Each of its stores allocates a certain amount of food that is donated every month. For more information on The Four Foods Group, visit www.fourfoodsgroup.com.
