BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--New Idaho trademark-service mark registration applications and designs can now be submitted for approval and paid faster through the state’s Web site at http://www.idaho.gov.
“Online registration of trademarks allows 24-hour access to my office and will streamline the application and approval process,” Idaho Secretary of State Ben Ysursa said. “This new Web tool eliminates the need to scan artwork and enter information by hand. In turn, online customers receive faster approval notification.”
Applicants need to: submit a digital file of the new mark in .gif, .jpg, or .png format up to one megabyte in size; be able to describe the mark being registered and how it will be used; and pay by credit or debit card if the mark is approved.
The online price for registering new trademarks-service marks is $32.00 per class code.
Trademarks-service marks must be in use prior to registration, andregistrants can file as an individual/sole proprietorship, a corporation, or as an Idaho government.
