BOSTON--()--Millennium Partners, developer of the award-winning Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Towers and other acclaimed projects in Boston and around the country, unveiled today a new way of presenting information about its latest project, Millennium Place, by utilizing state-of-the-art signage at the project site. The high-tech site sign, located at the corner of Avery and Washington streets, allows passersby to scan a QR (quick response) code from across the street and then watch a 3-D digital simulation on their smart phone which shows the 15-story residential building being erected. Currently under construction with initial occupancy slated for fall 2013, Millennium Place is the developer’s latest design for urban living. It will be Boston’s first large scale residential condominium to be completed in over four years, and represents the latest advances in condominium planning and development.

“Whenever we begin a new project, we like to start by listening closely to sophisticated residents in Boston and other great American cities about how they want to live, work and partake in all that the city has to offer,” said Joe Larkin of Millennium Partners. “Millennium Place was designed in response, and we believe that it moves condominium design and services to yet a new level.”

Millennium Place will offer a wide selection of open and flexible floor plans that allow working at home in today’s new lifestyle. They feature an abundance of natural light, large scale “great rooms” for living, dining, and cooking, as well as luxurious bathrooms. The project also features the opportunity for residents to engage in unique events through a preferred access program to the city’s top cultural and social attractions through Millennium Partners’ proprietary La Vie program.

La Vie will offer a collection of exclusive activities and events designed to enable a sense of community among residents while also connecting them to the urban vitality of their city. Residents will enjoy an on-premises private club with casual dining, a library and a beautifully cultivated garden area. They will also have access to a 24-hour private resident concierge, as well as a staff trained to the same exacting, award-winning standards of the five-star Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Towers directly across the street, also developed and owned by Millennium Partners. A private on-site fitness center connected to nearby Sports Club/ LA – Boston will provide custom programs and classes including a wellness center with Pilates, massage, and yoga studios.

Designed by the acclaimed lead architect Blake Middleton and project architect Deborah Moehlis of Handel Architects, Millennium Place will serve as the keystone of the Avery Street Corridor, creating the complete new community that unifies the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Towers and Sports Club/LA – Boston with the new Millennium Place project.

Millennium Place is a part of Millennium Partners’ plan to invest nearly $1 billion in Boston during the next decade, which includes the Millennium Tower/Burnham Building development whose design was introduced earlier this month, and furthers the firm’s commitment to creating vibrant, 24/7 neighborhoods.

The 3-D digital animation can be accessed by scanning the QR code on the walkway sign or by visiting the Millennium Place website, www.MPLACEBOSTON.com. To download a free QR code scanner app, please visit the app store for your smart phone or tablet (we suggest NeoReader for iOS devices and Barcode Scanner for Android).

Millennium Place’s sales center will open in fall 2012, with initial occupancy slated for fall 2013. Potential buyers who wish to schedule a fall appointment can e-mail bostonlives@mplaceboston.com or call 617 542 1555.
